How it actually goes
A business with a domain and nothing else
The usual path is four suppliers, four invoices and four people to chase: one builds the site, one draws the logo, one sells you software, one runs the ads. Here is the same business on Melbarrel. Every step below exists in the product today.
Point your domain at Melbarrel
You already own the domain. Add one DNS record and it belongs to your Melbarrel account. Verification runs on its own and the HTTPS certificate is issued for you — no hosting to buy, no certificate to renew, nobody to email about it.
Your own domain, not a subdomain you are embarrassed to print
DNS verification and HTTPS handled automatically
While DNS propagates you are already live on a Melbarrel address
The platform
Everything connected, nothing typed twice
Most teams stitch together a booking tool, a spreadsheet, an invoicing app and a website. Melbarrel is one system — the customer you booked this morning is the same record you invoice tonight.
Customers
One record for every customer
Every appointment, note, document, payment and message lives on the same contact. No more asking a client for something they already sent you.
A clinic books rooms. A restaurant books tables. A law firm books hearings. Melbarrel ships the calendar your industry actually needs — not a generic grid you have to bend into shape.
Turn a job into a quote, a quote into an invoice and an invoice into money — without re-typing a line. Payments reconcile against the customer automatically.
Build your site by dragging sections into place, then drop in a live booking widget. It is not a brochure — it is a front door wired straight into your calendar.
Everything above this section is in the product today. Everything below it is not — these are the things we are building next, and we would rather tell you plainly than let you find out.
In development
Social accounts, connected directly
Connect Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to your account, so Melbear can draft and schedule posts and surface the messages that are actually booking requests — instead of you copying them into the system by hand.
Planned
Sensors and premises, on the same screen
Fridge temperature in a restaurant, room occupancy in a clinic, doors and lighting in a building. Environmental devices reporting into the same platform that already holds the shift, the booking and the compliance record they belong to.
Planned
A network between businesses
A clinic that needs a courier. A restaurant that needs a supplier. A law firm that needs a translator. Businesses finding and working with each other through Melbarrel — including the ones that are not on Melbarrel yet.
Still unsure? Talk to us - we would rather tell you it is a bad fit than sell you the wrong thing.
Is Melbarrel software, or an agency?
Software. Melbarrel is a business platform — bookings, customers, staff, invoicing and your website — and you run it yourself. Melbear, the built-in AI assistant, drafts your copy, SEO and social posts from your own business data, and our support team helps whenever you get stuck. We do not do your branding or marketing for you; the tools are built so you do not need an agency.
Do I have to move everything to Melbarrel at once?
No. Most teams start with one part of Melbarrel - usually customers or bookings - and move the rest across as they get comfortable. Your data stays connected either way, so nothing is stranded in the meantime.
Is my industry really supported, or is it a generic template?
Melbarrel ships 30 industry modules, each with its own workflows, fields and reports. A dental practice gets an odontogram and a recall schedule; a restaurant gets tables, courses and a kitchen display; a law firm gets matters, hearings and retainer balances. Same platform, different tools.
